Find a cleaner who can work with your plan

Filter by the things that actually rule providers in or out: whether they're registered, whether they can invoice the way your plan is managed, and whether they work in your city.

What the registration labels mean

Registered NDIS provider

This provider has told us they are registered and we have recorded a verification date.

Unregistered provider

Not registered with the NDIS Commission. Usable by self-managed and, in most cases, plan-managed participants.

Registration not verified

We have not verified this provider's NDIS registration status. Ask them directly and check the NDIS Commission register.

Ask every cleaner these questions

  1. 1Do you currently support NDIS participants, and are you registered with the NDIS Commission?
  2. 2Which plan management types can you invoice — self-managed, plan-managed or NDIA-managed?
  3. 3What is your hourly rate, and does it change on evenings, weekends or public holidays?
  4. 4Is there a minimum booking length or a cancellation policy?
  5. 5Will the same worker attend each visit, and who covers when they are away?
  6. 6What exactly is included in a regular clean, and what is treated as a deep clean?
  7. 7Do your workers hold current police checks and NDIS Worker Screening where required?

Questions people ask

Do I have to use a registered NDIS provider for cleaning?
It depends on how your plan is managed. If your plan is NDIA-managed you need a registered provider. If you are self-managed or plan-managed you can generally use unregistered providers as well, which widens your choice considerably. Confirm with your plan manager before you sign a service agreement.
How do I know a cleaner really supports NDIS participants?
Ask three things: whether they currently support participants, which plan management types they can invoice, and whether their workers hold NDIS Worker Screening where it is required for the support they deliver. If a provider can't answer those clearly, that tells you something.
What does CleanScout verify?
We record what providers tell us and show whether we have verified their NDIS registration status and when. Where we have not verified it, we say so and point you to the NDIS Commission register rather than implying a claim is confirmed.
Is CleanScout free for participants?
Yes. Searching, comparing and enquiring is always free. Providers can pay for a Featured listing, which affects where they appear — it never changes what we say about their registration or verification status.

CleanScout is an independent directory. This information is general only, is not financial, legal or plan advice, and does not guarantee that any support will be funded in your plan. Always check the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits and talk to your plan manager, support coordinator or the NDIA about your own plan.
