You know what you need help with at home. What's hard is working out whether your plan covers it, how many hours your funding buys, and which cleaners can actually invoice the way your plan is managed.
A cleaner who can't invoice your plan manager, or a service agreement with a weekend rate you didn't expect, costs you hours you can't get back. A few checks up front avoid both.

Start where you are
How your plan management affects who you can hire
This is the single thing that most changes your list of options — worth getting straight before you contact anyone.
Self-managed
You manage the funding yourself, pay providers directly and keep records for the NDIA.
You can use registered or unregistered providers, which is the widest possible choice of cleaners.
Plan-managed
A plan manager pays your invoices and tracks your budget for you, funded separately in your plan.
You can generally use registered or unregistered providers, as long as they can invoice your plan manager correctly.
NDIA-managed (agency-managed)
The NDIA pays providers directly through the myplace portal.
You need to use a registered NDIS provider, which narrows the list of cleaners you can choose from.
